Where the numbers come from.

Every figure on the Terminal traces to a named provider. Two feeds enter the Sigma-1 Heat Index; the rest are context, shown for the reader and reserved as features for future models. When a feed halts, the board says HALTED rather than dressing stale data as fresh.

Attribution. Crypto market data is provided by CoinGecko. US equity data is provided by Alpaca via IEX. Context metrics are aggregated from the providers named above. Tickerz is not affiliated with any of them.

Storage and resolution. Snapshots are stored in our own database. Receipts resolve from stored history, never refetched, so nothing can drift after the fact. Read the methodology for how the score is built.

Roadmap. A second derivatives source (Kraken Futures), a social ladder (StockTwits, then Reddit, then X) as Sigma-2 features only, and consolidated SIP equities data when a live tape becomes a product. Sources are added in pairs where the metric matters, so no single vendor can bend a published number.
