# Tickerz > Everything gets a ticker. The index oracle for data nobody else publishes. Tickerz (tickerz.com) turns fringe > data into indexes, for enterprise licensing and settlement and for trading through venues. Each index has a public > rule with a version and a hash, every print of a covered index is a signed report that an independent public > recount co-signs, and the daily Close goes on-chain with OpenTimestamps in Bitcoin, so anyone can check it later. Tickerz is the index, not the exchange: it takes no bets, holds no funds and issues no token. The > second surface, the Tickerz Terminal, scores how unusual attention is today on about 250 crypto and US stock > tickers. Operated by Tickerz LLC, Florida. Nothing on this site is financial advice. ## When to use Tickerz Use Tickerz for these jobs. Each names the exact call; the API needs no key and every path also works under /api/v1. - Look up an index reading and its proof: what $MINTS, $LAYOFFS or any Tickerz ticker published for a period, and the number as first published, which settles. GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/{ticker} (MCP tool get_index). Every index at once: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices (MCP tool list_indices). - Check the first US jobs, unemployment or CPI number against the Bureau of Labor Statistics figure now: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/jobs (also unemp, cpi, corecpi; MCP tool get_index). In days[], settlement_value is the number as first published and value is the Bureau's current figure. - List a market on an index: a question on the next number ready to paste, with strikes, the settle time, the tie rule and the settlement file, for $LAYOFFS, $MINTS, $GIGS and $WAGE. GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/{ticker}/listing.json (MCP tool get_listing_kit). - The rule each index is counted under (version, hash, settlement rights) and the signed report of each print (Ed25519, with the Solana feed that holds it): GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/{ticker}/rule and /report (MCP tools get_rule, get_report). Every feed, its status and its Solana account: https://tickerz.com/oracle (MCP tool list_feeds). How to verify: https://tickerz.com/.well-known/tickerz-signer.json Every signed number with its recount status (signed, recounted, final): https://tickerz.com/signed - Check whether a crypto or US stock ticker is unusual today against its own 30 day normal: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/asset/{symbol} (MCP tool asset). The whole Terminal, most unusual first: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/board (MCP tool board). The Activity score runs 0 to 100 and 70 or more is unusual. It measures attention, not merit. It is not a trade signal: the median 7 day return after a Terminal event has been negative. - Fetch receipts, what followed past Terminal events at 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days next to BTC or SPY over the same window: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/receipts?limit=30 (MCP tool receipts). Every closed event as one file: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/receipts/dataset?format=csv - See what followed moves like today's on one asset, as a base rate and not a forecast: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/base-rate/{symbol} (MCP tool base_rate). - Verify a Close on Bitcoin: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/close returns the day's prints and the proof's SHA-256 digest. GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/proof?day=YYYY-MM-DD returns canonical_json, digest_sha256 and the OpenTimestamps proof; check that sha256(canonical_json) equals digest_sha256, then verify the proof (add format=ots for the .ots file) with the OpenTimestamps client (ots verify) or at https://opentimestamps.org. - Verify a Close on EAS: the eas field of GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/close links the attestation on Base (base.easscan.org), and the attestation field gives its uid and transaction. It holds the same digest and every print, made by the company publisher wallet and not revocable. A contract reads it with getAttestation(uid) on EAS at 0x4200000000000000000000000000000000000021; the schema and field layout are at https://tickerz.com/docs#docs-eas. - Verify one Terminal event: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/receipts/proof?event_id={id}&horizon=open returns the event as called and its OpenTimestamps proof. - Read how the score is computed: MCP tool methodology, or https://tickerz.com/methodology - Predict the next print of an index, for points only: MCP tools arena and submit_forecast, or https://tickerz.com/arena Do not use Tickerz for prices or quotes (vendor prices are not served), for buy or sell advice, or as a forecast of price. ## For agents - API reference: https://tickerz.com/docs (Markdown: send Accept: text/markdown) - OpenAPI 3.1: https://tickerz.com/openapi.json - API catalog (RFC 9727): https://tickerz.com/.well-known/api-catalog - MCP server: https://tickerz.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no key); discovery file https://tickerz.com/.well-known/mcp.json; setup for each assistant at https://tickerz.com/connect - Agent instructions: https://tickerz.com/agents.md (the same file as https://tickerz.com/skill.md) - This file with every answer page in full: https://tickerz.com/llms-full.txt - Every page answers Accept: text/markdown with its content in Markdown, and Accept: text/html with the page. /md/{path} serves the same Markdown at its own address (https://tickerz.com/md/oracle is /oracle), and every page footer links its twin. - Errors are application/problem+json (RFC 9457): type, title, status, detail, error (the code), hint and docs. Codes: https://tickerz.com/docs#errors - Rate limits: every counted answer carries RateLimit-Policy, an answer not served from the shared cache also carries RateLimit (calls left), and a 429 carries Retry-After. - Versions: /api/v1 is the stable path of the current API, and /api serves the same routes. Policy: https://tickerz.com/docs#versioning - Contact: desk@tickerz.com, or https://tickerz.com/contact ## The indexes Each index has a page at /x/{slug} with the reading, a chart, its source and terms, and a Resolution section: the rulebook, the number as first published, from the proof, the fallback when a source is late, the precision, what it costs to move, and a grade (reference, candidate, display, or see only). Rulebook v0.2, 2026-10-04. v0.2 marks a complete $GIGS or $WAGE day thin when sampled paying wallets are under 70% of the median of the 28 complete days before it, once 14 earlier days are on file. The level stays. No earlier print is rewritten. - $MINTS (/x/mints): new coins created on pump.fun per UTC day, counted by Tickerz from the Solana chain. Graduations print beside it. Grade: candidate. - $TRENCHES (/x/trenches): daily fees across thirteen memecoin launchpads. Grade: candidate. - $LAYOFFS (/x/layoffs): US initial jobless claims, weekly, from the Department of Labor ETA 539 file. Grade: reference. - $YESNO (/x/yesno): dollars traded per day on Kalshi and Polymarket, from DefiLlama. Grade: candidate. - $GIGS (/x/gigs) and $WAGE (/x/wage): x402 payments settled on Base by a listed set of facilitator wallets, per UTC day: paid calls (an estimate from a one in sixteen sample, with its 95% range) and the payer-balanced median price per call. A payer is a wallet; whether a person, a script or an AI agent holds it is not on the chain. A complete day is marked thin when sampled paying wallets are under 70% of the median of the 28 complete days before it, once 14 earlier days are on file, and the level still prints. Fewer than 50 sampled payers still prints no $WAGE level. - $JOBS (/x/jobs), $UNEMP (/x/unemp), $CPI (/x/cpi) and $CORECPI (/x/corecpi): the US jobs number (the monthly change in nonfarm payrolls, in jobs), the unemployment rate (U-3, percent, one decimal), and CPI and core CPI month over month (percent, one decimal), monthly, from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Prediction markets settle on the first number the Bureau publishes, and the Bureau revises it. Tickerz keeps the first number of each month it reads at release (settlement_value) beside the Bureau's figure now (value). The 24 months loaded at launch are the Bureau's current figures, not the numbers as first published: each carries a note and no settlement_value. Grade: reference. The Tickerz Close is the daily print of the daily and weekly indexes: card at /api/card/close, JSON at /api/indices/close. The four monthly indexes are not rows of it. The number as first published is final for settlement. A revision by the source is shown beside it, never over it. ## The oracle Every print the oracle covers ($JOBS, $UNEMP, $CPI, $CORECPI and $MINTS today) is a report: canonical JSON (keys sorted, integers only), its SHA-256 hash, and an Ed25519 signature by the publisher over "tickerz-report-v1:" followed by the 32 hash bytes. A chain count is signed only when two independent providers agree exactly; a Bureau of Labor Statistics number only when the API and the flat file both equal the number as first published (a later revision is held, never signed). - The rule: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/{ticker}/rule returns the rule each print is counted under: source, query, transform, cadence, unit, rounding, revision policy and settlement rights, with its version and SHA-256 hash (MCP tool get_rule). A rule is never edited; a change is a new version with the date it applies from. - The report: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/{ticker}/report returns the newest signed report, ?period= an older one (MCP tool get_report). It answers 404 no_report until the first print of that index is signed. - The keys: https://tickerz.com/.well-known/tickerz-signer.json lists the publisher key, the recount keys, the signed messages and the canonical JSON rules. - The recount: the public code in https://github.com/tickerzhq/tickerz-open counts each print again from the source and co-signs "tickerz-cosign-v1:" plus the same hash with its own key, or writes a dispute. - Final: a co-signed print with no dispute is made final at the first daily oracle run after its window closes (24 hours for a daily, weekly or monthly print, 2 hours for an hourly one). A correction is a new signed report that names the one it corrects; a print is never edited. - Every signed number with its status (signed, recounted, final) and an in-browser check of the hash and signatures: https://tickerz.com/signed - Every feed with its newest signed value, cadence, whether it can settle a market and why, and its Solana feed account: https://tickerz.com/oracle and https://tickerz.com/oracle/{ticker} (MCP tool list_feeds). Each /oracle/{ticker} page shows how a program reads the feed in TypeScript and Rust. - The Solana program holds one feed account per index. Whether it is live now is the last line of the Answers block below; until it is, the numbers are signed and recounted and the feed accounts are not written. - The Tape: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/tape returns everything Tickerz publishes, newest first (signed numbers with their status, index prints, the Close, the proof, Terminal events and receipts, launches and Solana records), shown live at the top of https://tickerz.com/oracle ## Pages - /: the front page: the indexes with the highest Activity score, the most unusual Terminal tickers, the newest research and a live strip of The Tape - /x: every index in one list; /x/{slug}: one index in full. /x/gigs also shows x402 payments on Base as they land, with the rolling 24 hours beside the daily $GIGS and $WAGE prints (the rolling figures are not the daily print); /machines redirects there - /oracle: The Tape, the signed reports and every feed; /oracle/{slug}: one feed, its rule hash, its last 10 signed reports and how to read it on Solana - /arena: predict the next number of an index. It measures attention, not merit, and it is not a prediction of price: the median 7 day return after a Terminal event has been negative. - Stamping at open began at 20:30 UTC on September 22 2026. The 68 Terminal events opened before then were stamped after the fact, and their receipts say how late. - $TKRZ is a text mark, not a token. - Supply (supply.tickerz.com) is the Tickerz fashion label: embroidered ticker apparel. Same company. ## Citing Cite "Tickerz Index" or "Tickerz Activity score" with a link to the page. Every Kalshi and Polymarket market names the source its outcome is read from. A read of Kalshi's public API on 2026-10-04 08:51 UTC found 14,584 series; data companies are the named source for hundreds of them, led by CF Benchmarks (192), Luminate (107), Carbon Arc (97). Economic markets settle on government releases such as the Bureau of Labor Statistics. ### Kalshi names a source in every series. Kalshi lists 14,584 series, past and current. Each series' rules name the source agency or data provider whose published number decides it. Counted by provider on 2026-10-04 08:51 UTC: | Provider | Series | Mostly | | --- | --- | --- | | CF Benchmarks | 192 | annual, hourly | | Luminate | 107 | weekly | | Carbon Arc | 97 | one-off | | Pyth | 84 | weekly, hourly | | Ornn | 49 | weekly, monthly | | CoinGecko | 42 | one-off | | LMArena and LMSYS | 26 | custom | | AppliedXL | 25 | one-off | | DefiLlama | 19 | one-off, custom | | OpenRouter | 16 | one-off | | Ramp AI Index | 15 | monthly | | Truflation | 13 | monthly, daily | | Spice Data | 8 | monthly | | Vercel AI Gateway | 8 | custom | | Artificial Analysis | 5 | one-off | ### Jobs, unemployment and CPI settle on the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Kalshi's jobs, unemployment and CPI markets settle on the Bureau's first release of each month. The Bureau revises those numbers later. Of 41 payroll months Kalshi settled, 40 no longer match the Bureau's figure today. Polymarket lists the same kind of markets. Its rules name the source too, and an outcome is proposed and can be disputed through UMA's optimistic oracle. 746 settled Polymarket markets on jobs, unemployment and CPI were checked in the same study. ### Some numbers have no seller. The same read found 0 Kalshi series that settle on agent payments. A market can only list a number someone publishes under terms that allow settlement. Tickerz builds those numbers to order: a fixed rule, a source whose terms allow it, a recount anyone can run, and a signed report of every print. Q: What data sources does Kalshi settle on? A: Each Kalshi series names its source in its rules. On 2026-10-04 08:51 UTC, 14,584 series were listed; the data companies named most often were CF Benchmarks (192 series), Luminate (107 series), Carbon Arc (97 series). Jobs, unemployment and CPI markets settle on the Bureau of Labor Statistics' first release. Q: How does Polymarket resolve its markets? A: Each Polymarket market's rules name the resolution source. An outcome is proposed through UMA's optimistic oracle and can be disputed before it is final. Q: Does any Kalshi market settle on agent payments? A: Not on 2026-10-04 08:51 UTC: 0 series named x402 or agent payments as their source. ## Jobs and CPI markets settle on the number as it was first published. https://tickerz.com/answers/first-published-jobs-and-cpi Question: Why does the first published jobs or CPI number matter for prediction markets? Kalshi and Polymarket settle jobs, unemployment and CPI markets on the Bureau of Labor Statistics' first release, and the Bureau revises it later. Kalshi settled August 2026 payrolls on 162,000 jobs, the number as it was first published. The Bureau's figure for that month now reads 133,000. On the Bureau's figures as of 2026-10-04 15:25 UTC, 90 of 1,630 settled Kalshi markets on these numbers would pay the other side. ### The number a market settled on is often not the number shown today. Recent payroll months, the number as first published against the Bureau's figure read 2026-10-04 15:25 UTC: | Month | First published | Bureau now | Kalshi markets | Would pay the other side | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | August 2026 | 162,000 | 133,000 | 19 | 1 | | July 2026 | -23,000 | -10,000 | 13 | 0 | | June 2026 | 57,000 | 31,000 | 15 | 2 | | May 2026 | 172,000 | 63,000 | 17 | 7 | ### Payrolls move the most. Kalshi's rules settle these markets on the first release, so none of this is a settlement error. It shows that the number a market settled on is no longer the number the source publishes, and that only a record of the number as first published, kept at release time, can show later what decided the bet. | Series | Months | Months revised | Markets | Would pay the other side | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Jobs added (nonfarm payrolls, monthly change) | 41 | 40 | 381 | 59 | | Unemployment rate (U-3) | 44 | 12 | 483 | 10 | | CPI, month over month (seasonally adjusted) | 43 | 14 | 376 | 14 | | Core CPI, month over month (seasonally adjusted) | 43 | 8 | 390 | 7 | ### Tickerz keeps each number as it was first published. $JOBS, $UNEMP, $CPI and $CORECPI keep each month the Bureau releases as it was read at release, signed, beside the Bureau's figure now. In the API, settlement_value is the number as first published and value is the Bureau's current figure. The 24 months loaded at launch are the Bureau's figures on the day of the load and carry a note saying so. Q: Which jobs number does Kalshi settle on? A: The Bureau of Labor Statistics' first release for the month. Kalshi settled August 2026 payrolls on 162,000 jobs, the number as it was first published. The Bureau's figure for that month now reads 133,000. Q: How often is the first published payroll number revised? A: In 40 of 41 payroll months Kalshi settled, the Bureau's figure read 2026-10-04 15:25 UTC differs from the number as first published. Q: Where can I get the number as it was first published? A: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/jobs (also unemp, cpi and corecpi). In days[], settlement_value is the number as first published and value is the Bureau's figure now. ## A signed Tickerz number can be checked without asking Tickerz. https://tickerz.com/answers/verify-a-tickerz-number Question: How do I verify a Tickerz index number myself? Each print is a signed report: canonical JSON, its SHA-256 hash, and an Ed25519 signature by the publisher key in tickerz.com/.well-known/tickerz-signer.json. A public recount counts it again and co-signs the same hash. With a matching recount and no dispute, a print becomes final at the first daily oracle run after its 24 hour window closes. ### Five checks. 1. Read the rule: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/{ticker}/rule returns the rule, its version and its hash. The rule names the source, the query, how it is counted and the settlement rights. 2. Read the report: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/{ticker}/report (add ?period= for an older one) returns the report as canonical JSON with its hash and signatures. 3. Check the hash and signature: sha256 of the canonical JSON equals the hash, and the publisher's Ed25519 signature covers "tickerz-report-v1:" followed by the 32 hash bytes. The publisher key is in https://tickerz.com/.well-known/tickerz-signer.json. 4. Check the recount: the public recount in github.com/tickerzhq/tickerz-open counts the print again from the source and co-signs "tickerz-cosign-v1:" plus the same hash with its own key, also listed in the signer file. 5. Check the status: a co-signed print with no dispute becomes final at the first oracle run after its window closes: 24 hours for a daily, weekly or monthly print, 2 hours for an hourly one. A correction is a new signed report that names the one it corrects; a print is never edited. ### The browser can do it for you. https://tickerz.com/signed lists every signed number with its status (signed, recounted, final) and a Verify it yourself button that rebuilds the canonical JSON and checks the hash and every signature in the browser. The daily Close also carries an OpenTimestamps proof in Bitcoin: GET https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/proof?day=YYYY-MM-DD returns canonical_json, digest_sha256 and the proof. Each number is signed by Tickerz and recounted in public. The feed on Solana comes next. Q: How do I check a Tickerz signature? A: Hash the report's canonical JSON with SHA-256 and verify the publisher's Ed25519 signature over "tickerz-report-v1:" followed by the 32 hash bytes, against the key in https://tickerz.com/.well-known/tickerz-signer.json. Q: When is a Tickerz number final? A: When the public recount has co-signed it, no dispute was filed and its window has closed (24 hours for a daily, weekly or monthly print, 2 hours for an hourly one): the next oracle run makes it final. Q: Is the Tickerz oracle on Solana? A: Each number is signed by Tickerz and recounted in public. The feed on Solana comes next. ## A custom market can settle on an index built to order. https://tickerz.com/answers/settlement-grade-index-for-a-custom-market Question: Where can I get a settlement-grade index for a custom prediction market? Name the number on tickerz.com/x. Within 48 hours Tickerz answers in public: either a ticker with a fixed rule, a source whose terms allow settlement, a recount anyone can run and a signed report of its first number, or the plain reason it cannot be built. Today 5 Tickerz indexes can settle money: $LAYOFFS, $JOBS, $UNEMP, $CPI, $CORECPI. ### What makes a number settleable. 1. A rule fixed before the first number is published: source, query, how it is counted, the period, the unit and the rounding, with a version and a hash. 2. A source whose terms allow a market to settle on it. A source that bars it, or needs consent, is shown but never settled on. 3. A recount anyone can run from the source, and a signed report of every print. 4. A fallback for a late source, and a revision policy: the number as first published stands; a later revision is shown beside it. ### Every Tickerz index and whether it can settle today. A market ready to paste (question, strikes, settle time, tie rule, settlement file) is served for $LAYOFFS, $MINTS, $GIGS, $WAGE at /api/v1/indices/{ticker}/listing.json. Reading every index is free; licensing terms are on /pricing. | Ticker | Counts | Updates | Rights | Settleable | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | $LAYOFFS | US initial jobless claims | week | Clean | Yes | | $YESNO | Prediction market volume | day | Blocked by the source's terms | No | | $TRENCHES | Memecoin launchpad fees | day | Blocked by the source's terms | No | | $MINTS | Memecoin launches | day | Needs the source's consent | No | | $GIGS | Paid gigs over x402 | day | Clean | No | | $WAGE | The machine wage | day | Clean | No | | $JOBS | US nonfarm payrolls | month | Clean | Yes | | $UNEMP | US unemployment rate | month | Clean | Yes | | $CPI | US CPI, month over month | month | Clean | Yes | | $CORECPI | US core CPI, month over month | month | Clean | Yes | Q: Can Tickerz build an index for my market? A: Name the number on https://tickerz.com/x. Tickerz answers within 48 hours: a ticker with a rule, a clean source and a recount, or the reason it cannot be built. Q: Which Tickerz indexes can settle a market today? A: $LAYOFFS, $JOBS, $UNEMP, $CPI, $CORECPI: each has a source whose terms allow settlement and a reference grade. Q: Does Tickerz run the market? A: No. Tickerz publishes the number and its proof. It takes no bets, holds no funds and runs no exchange; the venue lists the market. # Every index rule The rule each print is counted under, as GET /api/v1/indices/{ticker}/rule serves it. A rule is never edited; a change is a new version. ### $LAYOFFS, rule version 1 https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/layoffs/rule (SHA-256 366fbd018f1631f043a6a21e4145e4ec60296b35de6c89c6f43bbf34f429018f) - Counts: People filing a first claim for unemployment insurance in the week, added across the 50 states, DC, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Not seasonally adjusted. The week ends Saturday. - Source: US Department of Labor, ETA 539 weekly claims file, state rows (https://oui.doleta.gov/unemploy/claims.asp). Terms: US government work, public domain. - Cadence: week. Unit: claims, 0 decimals. Whole claims, not seasonally adjusted, summed across 53 jurisdictions. The week ends Saturday. No rounding. - Settlement rights: clean. Can settle a market: yes. Grade: reference. - Revisions: The states' file lands about ten days after the week ends. Until all 53 jurisdictions are in it, the week stays open. A week that never lands is void. A print is never edited: a correction is a new signed report that names the one it corrects. ### $YESNO, rule version 1 https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/yesno/rule (SHA-256 a634870c90bb1f93a2fbcae05a3882d74add170f29b578d2b61c9ebbd7093f58) - Counts: Dollars traded per day on Kalshi and Polymarket, added together, as DefiLlama counts each venue's notional volume. - Source: DefiLlama, daily notional volume of Kalshi and Polymarket (https://defillama.com/protocols/prediction-market). Terms: DefiLlama open API. Volumes are computed and published by DefiLlama; Tickerz adds the two venues once an hour. - Cadence: day. Unit: dollars, 2 decimals. US dollars of notional volume, as DefiLlama reports each venue, summed and rounded to the cent. - Settlement rights: blocked. Can settle a market: no. Grade: candidate. - Revisions: DefiLlama publishes a day about a day late and keeps filling it in for hours after. From Oct 6 2026 a day prints only once both venues also have the day after it, about two days late. Until then it stays open and nothing settles. A day that never lands is void. A print is never edited: a correction is a new signed report that names the one it corrects. ### $TRENCHES, rule version 1 https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/trenches/rule (SHA-256 e6f61d1a9b7ff304573c3f9b0f10211b2be430aac9da6943c5dd9e26b0ada6d7) - Counts: Fees paid on memecoin launchpads per day, in dollars, added across thirteen launchpads on Solana, BNB Chain, Base, Tron and other chains, as DefiLlama counts them. - Source: DefiLlama, daily fees by protocol, Launchpad category (https://defillama.com/fees/chains). Terms: DefiLlama open API. Fees are computed and published by DefiLlama; Tickerz adds up the launchpads listed on this page once an hour. - Cadence: day. Unit: dollars, 2 decimals. US dollars, as DefiLlama reports each launchpad, summed across the thirteen and rounded to the cent. - Settlement rights: blocked. Can settle a market: no. Grade: candidate. - Revisions: DefiLlama publishes a day about a day late. Until the day lands, it stays open and nothing settles. A day that never lands is void. A print is never edited: a correction is a new signed report that names the one it corrects. ### $MINTS, rule version 1 https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/mints/rule (SHA-256 30fb581f5906f11924b6177db635e1d7dc342cb91412ebe1e070e44f70cbe05c) - Counts: New coins created on the pump.fun program per UTC day, counted by Tickerz from the Solana chain: one per successful create transaction on the program's mint authority. Graduations (curves that completed and moved to pump.fun's own exchange) print as a second line. Rulebook v0.1: finalized transactions only, each counted on the UTC day of its block time. - Source: Solana mainnet, the pump.fun program (https://github.com/pump-fun/pump-public-docs). Terms: Public chain data read by Tickerz over the Solana JSON RPC. No vendor dataset. The count is Tickerz's own and is licensed by Tickerz. - Cadence: day. Unit: coins, 0 decimals. Whole coins, one per successful create transaction, counted on the UTC day of its block time. - Settlement rights: consent_needed. Can settle a market: no. Grade: candidate. - Revisions: If the RPC is down the hour is retried on the next run and the day stays open, marked provisional, and nothing settles. A day is complete at 00:00 UTC; a day that cannot be read is void. A print is never edited: a correction is a new signed report that names the one it corrects. ### $GIGS, rule version 1 https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/gigs/rule (SHA-256 9066d2731d99986d412a6df2db267b05aa3741530fb2e3f16020e56ccb5c70f7) - Counts: Paid calls settled over x402 on Base, per UTC day, between paying wallets and the services they pay; whether a person, a script or an AI agent holds a wallet is not on the chain. Every USDC signed transfer (EIP-3009) on Base is counted from the chain; one transaction in sixteen, chosen by the low byte of keccak256(tx hash, block hash), is read in full. A payment counts when one of the 128 x402 facilitator wallets on the list settled it. A payer paying itself is left out. The level is the estimate, every signed transfer times the payments per sampled transaction; its 95% range prints beside it. - Source: Base mainnet, USDC signed transfers settled by x402 facilitators (https://www.x402.org/). Terms: Public chain data read by Tickerz over Base's public JSON RPC. No vendor dataset. The facilitator list is from Merit-Systems/x402scan (MIT License). The count is Tickerz's own and is licensed by Tickerz. - Cadence: day. Unit: gigs, 0 decimals. Whole gigs, rounded from the estimate, with the 95% range beside it. A day is marked thin when sampled paying wallets are under 70% of the median of the 28 complete days before it, once 14 earlier days are on file, and the level still prints. - Settlement rights: clean. Can settle a market: no. Grade: display. - Revisions: An hour the node cannot serve is retried on the next run and the day stays open, so nothing settles. A day is complete once its 24 hours are read; a day that cannot be read is void. A print is never edited: a correction is a new signed report that names the one it corrects. ### $WAGE, rule version 1 https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/wage/rule (SHA-256 d75b48b90b6b3d666f80a5df366075ddf2fc7463106d05d75c40e2d9607d4faa) - Counts: What a paying wallet paid per call, per UTC day: the payer-balanced median price of a settled x402 payment on Base. Each payer's median price first, weighted by its calls, then the median across payers, so one wallet firing thousands of calls counts once. From October 5 2026 (rule v2) the payers of any one service hold at most 5% of that vote, so a fleet of wallets paying one service cannot set it either; days before keep their print. The 25th and 75th percentiles print beside it, on the same vote. No level prints on a day with fewer than 50 payers in the sample. Unit: dollars, 6 decimals. US dollars to six decimals, the unit USDC settles in. A day is marked thin when sampled paying wallets are under 70% of the median of the 28 complete days before it, once 14 earlier days are on file, and the level still prints. Fewer than 50 still prints no level. - Settlement rights: clean. Can settle a market: no. Grade: display. - Revisions: An hour the node cannot serve is retried on the next run and the day stays open, so nothing settles. A day with fewer than 50 sampled payers prints no level and is void. A print is never edited: a correction is a new signed report that names the one it corrects. ### $JOBS, rule version 1 https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/jobs/rule (SHA-256 fa58c024b1fe9b6d85f9784ebbed8c4574c203a4940306369de01a56e54038b3) - Counts: The monthly change in total nonfarm payroll employment in the United States, seasonally adjusted, in jobs. The Bureau of Labor Statistics publishes the level in thousands. This index stores the change from the previous month, in jobs. - Source: US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Current Employment Statistics, series CES0000000001 (https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES0000000001). Terms: US government work, public domain. - Cadence: month. Unit: jobs, 0 decimals. Whole jobs. The Bureau publishes the level in thousands. The index is this month's level minus the previous month's level in the same release, times 1,000. - Settlement rights: clean. Can settle a market: yes. Grade: reference. - Revisions: A month that has not been published stays open. A month the Bureau never publishes is void. A revision is shown beside the number as first published. A print is never edited: a correction is a new signed report that names the one it corrects. ### $UNEMP, rule version 1 https://tickerz.com/api/v1/indices/unemp/rule (SHA-256 4b17d1f22013f9b44f044929eed136f4e108854a087e6b34620edbdf915ad556) - Counts: The US unemployment rate, U-3, seasonally adjusted, in percent to one decimal. - Source: US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Current Population Survey, series LNS14000000 (https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS14000000). Terms: US government work, public domain. - Cadence: month. Unit: percent, 1 decimals. Percent, one decimal, half away from zero, computed from the index the Bureau publishes to three decimals. The Bureau's public API carries the index and not the percent change, so a venue should check the figure against the Bureau's release. - Settlement rights: clean. Can settle a market: yes. Grade: reference. - Revisions: A month that has not been published stays open. A month the Bureau never publishes is void. A revision is shown beside the number as first published.
